Biker Chick

Grandpa Jim bought Kendall her 1st big girl bike! It took her about 5 minutes to figure out and she was off and riding, with training wheels of course.

Trick Or Treat

Halloween this year was a blast! Kendall was a kitty ( I will post more pics later) and Mike and I were Dog and Beth from Dog The Bounty Hunter. Friday I had a party for my daycare kids and that night we went to a party at our friends' Shawn and Jenn's house and Saturday we went to two birthday parties and did a little trick or treating. Kendall loved trick or treating. You can't even see Kendall on my hip because my wig was SO big!

The Pumpkin Patch

Every October my mom and I take all my daycare kids and nieces and nephews to Bizzi Farms Pumpkin Patch. It is MY FAVORITE field trip of the year. We start out going through a straw maze followed by a petting zoo, the hay climb, a tractor ride, picking the perfect pumpkin and last but defianetly not least... The pumpkin washing station. We had such a great time. Kendall, Caitlynn, Chase, and Chase trying to convince the donkey to come over.

Me & My Daycare Kids

Yes! We are alive... just slacking a little

I have soooo much to update so Bare with me. Mike and I are doing great! Mike is working at Country Insurance and Financial as an insurance agent and LOVES IT! I am still doing daycare. I have had a lot of turn over but am finally getting settled with the ones I love! THANK HEAVENS! I feel like we are finally working through some of the kinks of this year. The medication that has been making me a CRAZY woman these last few weeks is finally showing signs of working. I am finally not having the sharp stabbing pains that I have had in my lower stomach since my miscarrige in February, which is good news for me... but Mike is having to deal with a psycho basket case of a wife with a very short fuse. He just keeps patting me on the back and saying, "I hear your pills again!" Hopefully this too shall pass qucikly! I'm grateful I have such a supportive husband.
Mike's dad just had surgery on his hand and was in the hospital over Thanksgiving. It was really hard to not have him to celebrate the holidays with. He is such a great part of our lives and we are very grateful he is finally home and will be back to himself soon.

Kendall is growing like a weed. She grew an inch and a half in a little over a month. She is talking more everyday and keeps us laughing. She truely is the joy in our home.

Well I have tons of pics and stories to post... I just wanted to give a quick update.
Happy Holidays

Gymnatics

Kendall started gymnastics in October and loves it. She is ADORABLE in her little outfit and impresses her coach and I ever week.

Happy Flu Season

About three weeks ago I started getting a really bad fibromyalgia flare up. I was in a TON of pain. I was trying to do everything I usually do to get through it; massage, relaxation, sleep. But nothing was working. So I caved and took meds but even that wouldn't touch it. I just kept getting worse. Then I got a really bad pain in my lower back and jaw and a scratchy sore throat. I dealt with it for a few weeks but finally hit a breaking point, so I went to the Dr. In my line of work this is not an easy task. So I went and they diagnosed me with a kidney infection, ear infection and sinus infection and told me to take two weeks off to get on top of my fibromyalgia flare up. NOT HAPPENING! So 20 minutes later I was back to work. That night I ran a low fever and Mike said he wasn't feeling too hot so I decided to take the next day off work just incase. And good thing I did. The next morning was Thursday and Kendall woke up with a fever then Mike . THAT'S EXACTLY WHY I DON'T GO TO THE DR. Anytime I do I bring home another bug. Then one of my daycare mom's called becuase one of her students at work had been hospitalized with Swine Flu. So she talked to the school nurse becuase her son, who I watch, was home with a fever of 104.4. So she took him into the ER and sure enough... THE FLU.

I'm pretty sure Kendall, Mike, and I all have a different strand of flu but we are all sick. And since it's running RAMPID I figured I'd let you know which things have helped us.
The humidifier is a MUST! Kendall's been using Children's Tylenol and Motrin to contol the fever and body aches and her dr said I could give her Robitussin DM at night to sleep. Delsym has worked wonders for me and Tylenol Cold and Flu has helped a lot with the sinus pressure.
Stock Up Now... Becuase by the time you need it... you won't want to go to the store and get it.
I'm pretty sure there is not a square inch of my house that hasn't been sprayed with Lysol, Bleach or wiped with a clorox wipe.
Make sure to wash your HANDS, bedding daily while infected, and replace everyone's tooth brushes.
HAPPY FLU SEASON

Gold Medal Gymnast

A few weeks ago Kendall saw some gymnastics on TV and ever since then, she has been OBSESSED with running and twirling and this little bear crawl looking pose. She is convinced that they are all her "gymnastics" and will run around the house yelling, "Hey Guys... Come watch me do my 'nastics." It's pretty funny. And yes, she will be enrolled in gymnastics this fall.
